  6. 1.    Interpretation text has been carefully edited to correct grammar and spelling
  7.     errors pointed out by users. Some interpretation sections have been enhanced.

  9. 2.    The page format used by the all versions of the program is for a MacPaint size
  10.     print area (8"x10"). The aspect grid and chart wheel should print on one page each
  11.     (for Nelson Mandela sample on the Demo version); however, some users have reported
  12.     printing problems on Laser printers: a small sliver of the right side of the image
  13.     prints on a second page for the aspect grid and chart wheel.
  14.     To correct this problem so the aspect grid and chart wheel print
  15.     completely on only one page, I suggest trying the following:

  17.     -    Check "Page Setup…" under the "File" menu within Cosmic Imperative to be sure
  18.         the maximum print area option has been choosen for your printer.
  19.  
  20.     -    If above doesn't correct second page printing, try scaling printout to 90-95%
  21.  
  22.     -    I've narrowed the aspect grid and chart wheel so that if you try the above
  23.         and still cannot prevent the scond page from printing, at least everything will
  24.         print on the first page with a second blank page.

  56.     Go beyond the Sun Sign astrology columns found in newspaper columns with this
  57. program.  Newspapers use Sun Sign astrology because a person's Sun Sign is easy
  58. to determine. The sun returns more or less to the same place in the zodiac for
  59. a given day and month regardless of the year.  For instance, between 23
  60. September and 23 October for any year, the sun is in the sign of Libra.  So,
  61. when someone says that he is a Libra because he was born 2 October (any year),
  62. he means his sun was in the sign of Libra.

  64.     Popular (newspaper) astrology is limited to sun signs to keep the horoscope
  65. column manageable. The planets have more complicated cycles than the sun.  If a
  66. newspaper astrology column would cover all the planets in addition to the sun
  67. sign, then the column would fill the entire newspaper -- there would be no room
  68. for advertising and news.

  70.     Even though the Sun Sign is important, all the planets (astrologers call the
  71. sun and moon planets) in the horoscope chart play a role in your astrological
  72. makeup.  This program calculates the exact position of all the planets in a
  73. horoscope.

  84.         Remember playing Treasure Hunt when you were younger.  You used your
  85.     imagination to figure out what was something "that a king uses every day".
  86.     Well, instead of having to find objects from an arbitrarily drawn up list, you
  87.     now have the opportunity to learn astrology by using the natural movement of
  88.     the earth in relation to the planets to get a "list" of objects and events to
  89.     find that are specific to *your exact location and time*.
  90.     
  91.         This is a game that I use to teach astrology.  Try to find events,
  92.     situations, and people that correspond to the signs and planets that are listed
  93.     by this stack.  The listing of planets on the angles (ascendant and midheaven)
  94.     are calculated by this stack for your location and time.  You'll get the most
  95.     out of this game, "Astrology Treasure Hunt", if you've studied astrology for at
  96.     least three months and are familiar with planets, signs, ascendant, and
  97.     midheaven.

  99.         My astrology students enjoy this game and learn most from it when we play it
  100.     a public place, such as a shopping mall, where lots of people were coming and
  101.     going.  My students share their observations with each other.  The students who
  102.     were already familiar with the rulership of the planets and signs get the most
  103.     out of the game.

  105.         You can also learn astrology from this game.  Here's some background for you
  106.     to appreciate the game.
  107.     
  108.         Just as the Sun rises and sets every day, so do all of the other planets have
  109.     a 5-10 minute period when they are on the angles (rising, setting, culminating
  110.     and at the nadir).  This program generates a listing of when the planets are on
  111.     the angles and when the angles change sign *for your location and time*.
  112.     
  113.         These times of planets on the angles correlate with situations related
  114.     to these planets.  In addition, the time when the angles change sign (on the
  115.     average, every two hours) are also significant.  The correlation with when a
  116.     planet is on a sign or when the angles change sign takes place on three levels.
  117.     
  118.         I call the first (lowest level of significance) level the "forced" level. For
  119.     example, if you see on the listing that Mars is on the Ascendant, you might
  120.     look around for sharp or metal objects.  You would know what you wanted to find
  121.     (things, events, and people "ruled" by Mars), and start looking for them.
  122.     
  123.         The next level I call the "awareness" level.  Keeping with the Mars example,
  124.     you might become aware that you have been sitting on wrought iron chairs for an
  125.     hour since the game started.
  126.     
  127.         The last, third, and highest level is the "event" level.  You might see
  128.     one or two police walk by with all of their Mars equipment (gun, handcuffs,
  129.     baton, etc.).

  131.         Every planet and sign of the zodiac has it's own time everyday.  Treasure
  132.     Hunt tells you when is the Mars time to take action, the Leo time to play, the
  133.     Pisces time to listen to music and poetry.
